We invite everyone to join us at 6pm each Wednesday at the Forest Park Visitor’s Center
for our 16-week series. No registration needed. Run is just $1.

Standings through Week 2

*There are multiple 3K routes: Ball Field, Art Hill, Cricket Field.
On evenings where the temps are excessive, the course may be changed to a 3K route. Sept. 25 is a grab bag and fun run.

2013TrackSeries.pngTrack Series to run 100M & 200M next Tuesday

Week 4 of the 5-week Series is June 25 at Clayton’s Gay Field Track

Registration and warm-ups open each evening at 5:30pm, the runs begin at 6:30pm.

Youth are welcome to run a 400 or the full distance for that evening.
Ribbons awarded each week, trophies to Series’ top age-group finishers

Registration: Individual runs are $10 each week, or just $7 for SLTC members.

Distances: 3000M (June 4), 1500M (June 11), 800M (June 18), 100 & 200M (June 25), 400M (July 2)

Marathon Training Long Runs begin June 29
SLTC members training for a fall marathon are invited to join the Marathon Training crew on Saturday mornings from June 29-Oct. 19.
The runs will be held all over the metro area and range in distance from 8 miles to 20 miles. (See schedule.)
All paces welcome. The runs are free, but participants must be an SLTC member. (Memberships are $30 and include your entire household)

Half Marathon & 5K Training Programs begin in August

·         The 12-week Half Marathon Training Program begins Aug. 13 and will include a training plan, an initial Tuesday evening training sessions at SMTC in Crestwood and Sunday morning long runs in Forest Park, as well as entry into the 34th annual St Louis Half Marathon.  Cost: $115, $75 for SLTC members, plus $55 for 11 additional weekly weight training sessions.

·         The new 10-week 5K Training Program  begins Aug. 27 and will include a training plan, an initial Tuesday evening weight session at SMTC in Crestwood and Sunday morning runs in Forest Park, as well as entry into the Clayton Police 5K for Special Olympics. Cost: $100, or $60 for SLTC members, plus $45 for 9 additional weekly weight training sessions.
