Volunteers needed

Farmers Helping Farmers

The SLTC is collecting used running shoes for the “Farmers Helping Farmers” charity project in Afghanistan.  A special Missouri National Guard Agricultural Development Team is distributing shoes to local citizens to promote good will. Running shoes “with over 300 miles or six months on them, still in good condition,” sandals, flip-flops, and tennis shoes can be used.  Shoes can be dropped off at the SLTC office or at SLTC running events.
